About Michelle

Welcome to Organizing Spaces. Here, we will learn how to get rid of clutter and organize our spaces on a budget.

I am a happily married, SAHM of 5! My oldest (22) lives on her own with her own little family. Then there’s Halee (15), DJ (13), Aubrey (7), & Bo (5).

I graduated from high school in 1995 and never gave college a second thought. But in 2015, I decided I wanted a better future than I was currently able to provide for my family. My husband own’s his business Robert’s Flooring Installation, but I wanted to be able to contribute. So I began Kaplan University online and just graduated in July 2017 with my Associate’s degree in business administration.

A little over a year ago I discovered YouTube bloggers. My favorite videos are simply mothers, mainly SAHM, that document their lives on YouTube. They share recipes, cleaning routines, and many other topics that I find interesting. I love seeing how other women like myself do things. I soon found myself counting on these videos to motivate me to clean my home.

As a stay at home mom, I find myself in a brain fog, running out of ideas, and getting tired of the same old everyday lull of life. When I watch those YouTube moms, I find myself thinking of better ways I can do things in my home. So now I want to pay it forward. I want to reach others and provide the same inspiration I find with those videos. This isn’t a place just for stay at home moms either. All women and men need inspiration to get going sometimes.

So whether you are a SAHM, working mom, single, married, man or woman, I hope that I can inspire and motivate you in your homes and offices. My hope is to pay if forward to others that have found themselves in my shoes.

So come along with me as we find ways to get rid of the clutter in our lives. I want to help others come up with ideas to organize and design cute spaces on a budget.

If you ever need a hand or have any questions, feel free to leave them below or send me an email at michelle@cleananddesignonadime.com, and I will be more than happy to help you out.

All the best,

    1. It really wasn’t hard but it was very time consuming. I enjoyed the experience of it but I regret it because of the cost. Not to mention I don’t believe I will ever use it. But at least I can say I did it!

  1. Michelle – SAHM like you sculpt children’s minds better than any other profession out there. Kudos to you! Frugality is right up my alley so I’m looking forward to your ideas on cleaning and designing on a budget!

  2. Great job Michelle in going back to school and achieving your educational goal. I am 54 and completed my bachelors degree in 2015. I Started school in 2013. Also like your idea of organizing clutter around the house. lots of people need that.
